Here’s another label we’re excited to have involved with The Colour Chameleon project; Limedrop! There’s a pretty cute love story behind the label, Brisbane kids, Clea Garrick and Nathan Price met at uni, got married and fell in love with Melbourne while on holiday and ended up in Fitzroy. We’re happy old Melbourne town managed to seduce them because since launching their label in 2006 they have grown into an iconic and eye popping local brand.
The label is well known for it’s bold silhouettes, relaxed tailoring and above all their playful use of digital prints! Limedrop prints are always bold, adventurous and very distincitve. The design they’ve come up with for The Colour Chameleon is no exception. If you haven’t seen some sneak peaks of it on Instagram.. here’s how Limedrop describe it:
Chameleon’s are natures little hypercolour creatures. We love the way they can adapt to any environment and fit in seamlessly in all surrounds. We would love to have such a secret power! The Limedrop Chameleon Print is a colourful, playful design. It features the curious creatures cut out like stickers collaged onto a lavender background. Check out their funny expressions!
We can’t wait to see the design sewn into a pair of leggings, they’re going to be wild!! Make sure you come down to the launch next Friday, there will only be one pair of leggings available and the only place to knab ’em will be at the event.
